Plonky
A wobbly ragdoll hero, a level full of saws and crushers, and a finish to reach.
Plonky is a ragdoll-physics puzzle adventure: you steer a floppy hero past traps by pushing carts, pulling blocks, flipping switches and swinging on ropes. It suits players who like to stop, look and work a trap out before they jump.

How the game works, step by step
Each level is a short course from an entrance to a finish, and the hero between them does not walk so much as flop. Saws, crushers, spikes and assorted contraptions sit on the way, and the aim is simply to get the ragdoll to the finish in one piece.
Most obstacles are not solved by jumping harder. The level gives you objects to use: carts and blocks you can push, pull and lift, switches that change what the machinery does, and ropes you can grab to swing across a gap. Some levels add explosives. Reading which object belongs to which trap is most of the game.
Movement sits on A and D or the Left and Right arrows. Jump has three keys, W, the Up arrow and Space, and S or the Down arrow climbs down. That is the whole control set; the difficulty comes from the physics, not from extra buttons.

Route tips for your first run
- Pick one jump key and stay with it: Space leaves one hand on A/D, while W or Up keeps everything under one hand.
- Before each trap, stop and look for the object the level has placed near it; a cart or block is usually the way past, not a longer jump.
- Push or pull a block into position first, then move the hero. Doing both at once with a ragdoll rarely goes well.
- When a rope hangs over a gap, grab it and let the swing carry you; spikes below are the reason it is there.
- Remember that S or Down climbs down. It is easy to forget a key you only need now and then.
Who it works for
Players who enjoy physics puzzles and do not mind a hero who flops, falls and tries again. The trap-by-trap structure works for a short sitting as well as a longer one.
Downsides to check first
The ragdoll physics are the point, which also means movement is deliberately imprecise; some players find that more frustrating than funny.
Traps and contraptions get busy, so a level can take several attempts before the route becomes clear.
Poki shows ads around the game and sometimes before it starts; they are Poki's, not ours.
